WriteWise has been internationally recognized as being an innovator in the Educational Technologies (EdTech) space. This is reflected by our constant dedication to research and development within WriteWise, including the publication of research articles and participation and national and international conferences. During late 2019 and through 2020, WriteWise participated in two international competitions.

Qualifications for the 2019 Global EdTech Startup Awards (GESA) began with qualifying rounds in late 2019. WriteWise was selected as one of two LATAM semi-finalists after pitching in Monterrey, Mexico. The finals were held in January 2020 in London, where WriteWise was recognized as a Global Finalist among 19 startups selected worldwide.

Recognition as a GESA global finalist qualified WriteWise to participate in the Milken-Penn Graduate School of Education (GSE) Education Business Plan Competition. WriteWise was spotlighted among the 23 semi-finalists.

These two international events allowed both WriteWise co-founders to establish international connections with other EdTech founders, universities, and future collaborators. We are greatly appreciative of the chance to present WriteWise to the world, and we hope to continue innovating in the educational space for many years to come!
