What is Password Recovery?
Have you forgotten your password? No worries!
In this brief tutorial, we will show you the super simple WriteWise password recovery process.
All you need is access to the email associated with the account you want to reset the password on.

Step 1: Select “Forgot your password?”
On the login page, just below the login button, you will see the text “Forgot your password?” Click this text to start the WriteWise password recovery process.
Step 2: Provide email
You should now be on the WriteWise password recovery page. Here you will need to provide the email associated with your WriteWise account.
Step 3: Click “Recover Password”
Once you have entered the email associated with your WriteWise account, click the button “Recover Password.”
You should now go to the inbox of the email you just provided to continue the WriteWise password recovery process.
Note:
If you have correctly provided an email associated with a WriteWise account, you will see a green success box stating that a WriteWise password recovery email has been sent.
Note:
If the email you provided is NOT associated with a WriteWise account, you will see a red failure box. Please review the email address provided to make sure there is no typing error. If the issue persists and you are completely sure that you already have a WriteWise account, please contact us at support@writewise.io
If you do not have an account with WriteWise but would like to have an account, please visit our WriteWise Plans page to select the subscription best suited to your requirements.
Once you have purchased a subscription or signed up for your free trial, your account information will be sent to your email
Step 4: Click email link
Review your email inbox for an email titled “Reset your WriteWise Password” sent by support@writewise.io.
If you do not see an email in your inbox, please review your Spam folder.
Once you have located and opened the email, click on the “Reset Password Link” text to continue the WriteWise password recovery process.
Step 5: Set new password
You will now have the chance to create a new password. Please note, your new password must be entered twice and both must match.
Please make sure your password includes one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one symbol. Your password should also be at least 8 characters long.
If you need help to come up with a new password that meets the password requirements, you can use a free automatic password generator.
Step 6: Click “Change Password”
Once you have correctly entered your new password twice, click the “Change Password” button to complete the WriteWise password recovery process. You will be redirected to the login page where you can now use your new password to access your WriteWise account.
